Quilt
My friend Jen gave Violet the most beautiful sweet quilt for her birthday. I became obsessed after this, reading about quilting, going to fabric stores. With a lot of help from Jen, I am almost finished with my very first quilt. I didn't touch the laundry or housework last weekend, instead I sat at my sewing machine determined to finish the front. It is done, now it's time to make the back (oh and do the laundry) I requested Violet to smile in the first photo.

Wow, I'm impressed! Jed asked me tomake a quilt for him out of all his favorite tee-shirts that don't fit him anymore. I was like, "Okay," but seriously, when will I actually have time to do that? I was even thinking about getting rid of my sewing machine, but I might have to hold on to it a bit longer...
