We attended our first ever inauguration party last night. Violet enjoyed herself, and especially loved the American food served (pizza and cupcakes!)
We are very excited of what lies ahead. I can't even explain in words alone, I felt so proud yesterday as I watched the ceremony (at my desk) in Washington DC. It will be a hard road ahead, but for once I feel energized again and believe that things can change. What are those magic words? Yes we can.

You guys are soooo cool. We were watching it with you and were also thrilled. We didn't vote for him but we think he can be a good leader for our country. It is also fun to have a younger family in the white house. Grandma and Grandpa
