All in all she did really well, and I think we can say that we will be camping more often now! As you can imagine Randy is quite happy about that.
Here she is in her new life-vest that Grandma DeGroot bought her. Right after we took this picture she fell backward and couldn't move... not a pretty site, it reminded me of a bug stuck on it's back.
This is Randy fly-fishing at dusk, Violet is sound alseep in her carrier on his chest, and yes Randy did catch some fish.

It was a bit chilly the next morning, so Violet is a little bundled up here (what's up with all the purple/violet mom?) See that chair? The best $20 I spent in a long time, it's traveled all over. She loves to sit in it, and it washes up fantastically.

What a lucky girl you are, to be out in the beautiful Oregon wilderness, camping and fishing.So glad that you have a life jacket and you are now using your camping chair. Love you lot's my darling.Maybe you can draw me a picture soon?
