Baby Proofing the House
Two weeks ago it was crawling, so off we went to the store and bought gates for the stairs. Then it was picking up everything on the floor and putting in her mouth (mainly Diego's food), and NOW it's pulling herself up on furniture. Our slate fireplace is now baby proofed with blankets. Violet has officially taken over our home. Diego is always close by to ensure she is safe. She really is very proud of herself, you can see it in her face.

The slate fireplace, I presume? Oh, boy the excitement begins. She does look so proud. I will treasure the quiet joy of sitting up. Violet is getting so big.
